Mendip Vale parkrun Takeover – SATURDAY 15TH JULY!

The NHS is celebrating its 75th anniversary in July this year and to mark the occasion, parkruns are holding a special event to recognise the contribution that the NHS makes to the health of the nation.

You can find out more here: NHS England » ‘Parkrun for the NHS’ – celebrating the NHS’s 75th anniversary

This national Parkrun event takes place on Saturday 8th July but in Clevedon, the occasion will be celebrated on Saturday 15th July, and Mendip Vale is hosting a volunteer takeover! We’d love to see our patients at this event, and you can either run, jog, walk, or volunteer to show your support. Not only will the event recognise and celebrate this huge milestone for the NHS, but it also encourages many more people to get involved with their local parkrun and to take steps towards a more healthy, active lifestyle.

Parkruns take place every Saturday:

  • Marine Parade, Weston-Super-Mare
  • Clevedon Salthouse Fields, Clevedon
  • Ashton Court, Bristol
  • Eastville Park, Bristol
  • Blaise Castle, Bristol
  • Mundy Playing Fields, Thornbury
  • Pomphrey Hill Playing Fields, Bristol,
  • Somerdale Pavilion in Keynsham Bristol
  • The Ridings in Chipping Sodbury
