Did you know that our surgeries are virtual bus stops for the new WESTlink on-demand bus service?
WESTlink, the new type of bus service which operates in Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire, runs without a fixed timetable or route, and is booked ‘on-demand’ by users through the WESTlink app or by phone.
Passengers can get on or off at existing bus stops (over 1,800) as well as at several easy-to-reach places, and then connect to major bus and rail services.
Approximately 30 buses are running across the region, which can take up to 16 passengers each.
Book your bus in advance, get on board from your nearest pick-up point or bus stop, and get dropped off at a destination or a convenient bus stop.
How to book?
Book via the mobile app: TheWESTlink mobile app is available for Android and iOS smartphones. Just search for WESTlink in the app store or press the buttons below.
- Book via the web app: You are also able to book online via a web app. The web app works similarly to the mobile app, except you access it via your browser WESTlink(ridewithvia.com)
- Book over the phone: If you are unable to book your journey using mobile or web apps, you can also book over the phone with the operator – 01174578561.
- Lines are open Monday to Saturday between 05:30 and 21:30, and Sunday & Public holidays between 09:00 and 18:00. Closed on Christmas Day.
