Welcome to Mendip Vale Medical Practice
FRIDAY 9TH DECEMBER 2016
Due to the Mendip Vale Medical Practice computer data base merge with St Georges on Friday 9th December all sites will have no access to the computer system from 1pm. Therefore we will be offering a limited service in the afternoon for on the day urgent appointments. The Practice apologises for any inconvenience this may cause, and will work over the weekend to ensure the disruption is as minimal as possible.

Mendip Vale Medical practice is situated in a beautiful semi-rural situation in North Somerset, just over 10 miles south west of the centre of the city of Bristol. We cover a wide rural area which covers the villages of Blagdon, Churchill, Claverham, Cleeve, Congresbury, Hewish, Kenn, Kingston Seymour, Langford, St Georges, Wrington, and Yatton. We serve patients from five premises; modern state of the art surgeries in Langford and St Georges, long standing GP surgeries in Yatton and Congresbury and a limited GP and Healthcare Assistant clinic in Wrington. Our 25,000 Patients are able to choose to be seen at any of the five locations.
All of the team are enthusiastic about teaching and training, undertaking both post graduate and undergraduate teaching. We would usually have 3 or 4 trainee doctors attached to the practice at any one time. The Practice also has Student Nurse placements.
RCGP Research Ready accredited, we are part of the South West Primary Care Research Network. At any one time we will be involved in and be recruiting patients for a number of studies. The practice cooperates closely with other local practices in this activity.
We have an active Patient Participation Group which provides feedback and advice to the Practice in order to ensure we provide the best possible services to our patients.
Please familiarise yourself with some of the online services such as ordering a repeat prescription. Whatever your thoughts, be sure to let us know via our feedback function. Comments and suggestions are always a great way of helping us continue to enhance the way we look after you.
